Zenza App Privacy & Student Safety Policy

Last Updated: August 10, 2026

Welcome to Zenza (the "Application"), developed by Kanelijo. We are committed to protecting the privacy and ensuring the physical and digital safety of our students. This Privacy & Safety Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information, and the safety controls available inside the student communication system.

1. Information We Collect

To provide a secure and registered learning environment, we collect:

  • Student Account Information: Name, enrollment ID, batch name, mobile number, and profile picture provided by your coaching institute.
  • Device Information: Push notification tokens and device IDs to ensure secure, authorized logins.
  • Chat Logs: Text messages exchanged between students inside the Peer Chat feature. Messages are encrypted in transit and at rest.

2. Student Conduct & Zero-Tolerance Policy

The Peer Chat system is designed strictly for academic discussions, sharing study materials, and resolving doubts. We maintain a Zero-Tolerance Policy for abusive behavior. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Sending harassing, threatening, bullying, or offensive messages.
  • Sharing explicit, adult, or non-educational media/images.
  • Spamming other students with advertisements, external links, or promotional content.
  • Impersonating other students, tutors, or coaching staff.

⚠️ Violation of these rules will result in the immediate suspension of the student's account and termination of physical and digital campus privileges.

3. Student Safety Features: Blocking & Reporting

To protect our student community, the Application includes native safety controls that are active 24/7:

🚫 The Block Feature

If a student does not wish to communicate with a peer, they can Block them at any time:

  • Once blocked, the blocked user can no longer view the student's profile, digital card, online status, or send them any messages.
  • Blocking is immediate and does not notify the blocked user.
  • A user can manage their blocked list and unblock users at their discretion.

📢 The Report Feature

If a student encounters inappropriate behavior, offensive language, or a violation of our conduct rules, they can Report the offending user:

  • Tapping the "Report" button on a user's profile or chat bubble instantly logs the report.
  • The report, along with the recent message history, is immediately forwarded to the Coaching Center Administration panel for human review.
  • Our moderation team reviews all reports within 24 hours. Offending users will be warned, temporarily suspended, or permanently banned in line with our User-Generated Content Moderation protocols.

4. How We Use and Share Your Data

  • No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or trade student data, profile details, or chat histories to advertisers or external companies.
  • Coaching Moderation: Chat histories are private to the sender and receiver. Coaching administrators will only access conversation logs when an official "Abuse Report" is submitted by a student.

5. Data Deletion and Account Removal

Students have full control over their personal data.

  • Self-Service Deletion: You can request account deletion at any time directly through the app settings.
  • Data Erasure: Upon account deletion, all personal profile records, device identifiers, and chat history are permanently purged from our active databases within 14 days, in compliance with standard data protection laws.
